The latest piece to be published concerns the Dorrington family famous for cream cakes and other bakery products. The author, Philip Hays, is currently President of the Stort Valley Probus Club, a local historian and former headteacher of Sheering Primary School for 26 years. His article concentrates on the relation of that family with the first world war. Have a look and hopefully you will then conclude that this time it is “publish and be praised”.
